We have our International expert here today, Nikki Field from Sotheby’s International Realty. We will dig into that market with Nikki in just a few minutes. Also at this hour: During New York’s real-estate boom, giant apartment towers soared into the clouds. But now that the market has cooled, some of those developers are producing some extraordinarily tiny townhouses. On a cobblestoned lower Manhattan street near the approach to the Brooklyn Bridge, a four-story house is about to go on the market for $5million, even though the widest room measures only 10 feet. Are these tiny houses really in demand?

I became interested in a real estate career in the mid-1990s while buying and selling Manhattan co-ops and condos for my own personal real estate projects (renovating and selling), and found it to be an exciting industry. I decided to make Real Estate a full time profession and I've never looked back.
