Are you Soul Selfish or a Good Girl/Guy? Why?
October 8, 2019
Hosted by Dr. Sarah M. Young (DrRed)
A hospice nurse recently shared the top regrets of the dying that she heard most frequently. Among them was: not being true to themselves, not expressing their feelings nor sufficiently going for their own happiness. For women (even those who believe in Women’s Lib or “girl power“), they still have a habit of putting others first. Jane Wyker says choosing to be Soul Selfish is the most vital lesson a woman can learn at any age. She will tell you what that means and why you have to learn to overcome preconceptions about self discovery and empowerment. Over eight decades, she has learned that you cannot pour from an empty glass, that there is no more “doing the right thing,” putting up with undesirable behavior from others, or putting off what’s important to oneself. She invites everyone to join her on a perpetual journey of fulfillment, and she’ll take you along for the ride. Call 888-346-9141 to get your ticket to a Soul Selfish life. TTYT
Tuesday at 1 PM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
This show is about taking charge of your mental, physical and spiritual health. It showcases cutting edge healing modalities that may be called new age, but may have been in existence for centuries. Nevertheless, these methods work when all others fail. Add a little laughter, and you have a perfect recipe for healing.
For more than 3 decades, Dr Red has brought allopathic and alternative/complementary healing experts, such as Marianne Williamson, Dr. Rick Jelusich and Richard Bandler, center stage to share their knowledge of various healing techniques with the world.
DrRed's been there, done that, got the T-shirt, and she'll show you how to do it too. Tune in to DrRed Says, broadcasting live every Tuesday at 1 PM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
Dr. Sarah M. Young (DrRed)
Internationally recognized print and broadcast journalist, DrRed, has performed in radio and television since she was seven years old. Her last program, the Mind, Body, and Spirit show, featured practitioners such as Deepak Chopra, and others in allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. With her two doctorates, many certificates in crystal healing, Reiki, Hypnotherapy and such, she’s been called the fusion of Mr. Spock and James Van Prague.
Having survived blindness, paralysis, 30-plus surgeries, brain cancer in 1988, and losing 150 pounds, she knows the value of humor to heal. After recovering from just about everything, she now shares her accomplishments with the world through her nonprofit foundation for veterans and other organizations. She is founder of The So Brave Foundation for veterans, to which the show is dedicated.
DrRed is on a mission to share all the healing modalities that helped her get back on her feet and full of life again. If she can do it, you can do it, and have fun while you're at it. For one hour, rest your body, open your mind and get in the spirit. A session with DrRed is an adventure.
Now recovered from what was deemed terminal cancer, Dr Red is here to encourage you to be healed, healthy and whole, while learning to laugh and love life again.
