Episode Description
Have you ever noticed that good answers and good choices rarely occur when we are stressed out or in crisis mode? Think about it. When you are overwhelmed at work or in your marriage or dealing with your children are you in the best frame of mind to make a good decision? Of course you’re not. You have too many thoughts, or better yet too many of conflicting thoughts racing through your brain. You cannot focus. You cannot find clarity of thought. You cannot rationally weigh the pros and cons. It is like trying to hold back the ocean during high tide. As we continue to dwell on the negative aspect of loss and failure our stress and crisis move to frustration and depression. We have to break or change this pattern, but how? Today we are have two experts in addressing moving from Chaos to Clarity. My guests today are Rev. Patricia Cagganello, Kathleen O'Keefe-Kanavos, the authors of Chaos to Clarity Sacred Stories of Transformational Change
Life Altering Events
Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
Everyone has those AHA moments or events that change our lives for better or worse. These life altering events occur in every aspect of our professional, personal, and in the lives of our family. Try as we may, it is impossible to completely separate the events in our personal life from our professional life. Believe me, I tried and failed miserably. Life altering events present us with opportunities to seize the moment and make difference in our own life, the lives of our loved one, friends and business associates. They also can be a fork in the road where we can fall apart or pick up the pieces and start moving forward toward better times and better people. It is never too late to have the life you want and deserve. Let’s talk about it.
