akaRadioRed welcomes four inspiring creatives. Surviving a near-fatal car accident, Australian rock singer Michele Blood created positive Affirmation Songs that resonated with millions worldwide. She has co-written and created 80+ books, music CDs, audio programs, TV shows, and videos on positive thought. Shawndra McWhorter has been communicating with animals since 2000. She has done animal rescue work in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, Chile, Peru and around the US. Author of What They Want Us To Know: Messages of Hope, Meaning and Unity From the Animal Kingdom. Fed up with her fear of public speaking, Linda Ugelow devised a system to get over it for good. She has emceed a TEDx event in Hungary and produced / hosted the “Women Inspired” TV show. Author of Delight In The Limelight: Overcome Your Fear of Being Seen and Realize Your Dreams. Dr. Vicki Matthews is a Naturopathic Physician and Relationship Coach with a medical degree, BA in psychology and MBA in Consumer Behavior/Marketing. akaRadioRed is an accidental radio and TV creator, producer and host who began her media career in the late 1990s (she will reveal the year in exchange for good dark chocolate). Despite growing up shy (hard to believe) on Long Island, New York, she eventually found her “voice” through a range of expressive outlets: graphic designer, entertainment reporter and photographer, bachelor auction MC, newspaper reporter, author interviewer, standup comic, romantic comedy playwright, watercolor and mixed media artist, marketing writer and editor, and most recently, rock ‘n’ roll and blues ChickDrummer with sassy red boots to match her hair. By day, under a different name, she is the producer and host of 50 enterprise technology thought leadership roundtable series at VoiceAmerica Business since 2011. akaRadioRed is excited to bring Read My Lips Radio: Cool Conversations with Creatives to the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
