David Nero
David Nero is Director of Technology for the City of Boston Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). DoIT is the City of Boston’s enterprise technology organization that provides solutions to empower business partners across City departments and deliver services more efficiently and effectively. DoIT is focused on connecting the City, engaging and empowering citizens, improving business processes, working collaboratively and continuously innovating. David’s role allows him to cross all facets of the organization and provide leadership in developing strategies for business solutions and core technology investments. He participates actively in driving critical projects to successful completion, and is spearheading efforts to develop and sustain an Open Data platform as well as a Business Analytics/Data Management platform.
