Miguel Blockstrand
Miguel Blockstrand, the Director of Product Line Device Connections at Ericsson AB, is responsible for the machine-to-machine (M2M) portfolio at Business Unit Networks. Implementing new technologies has been a common theme throughout his career. Prior to his current role, he has been responsible for defining and implementing strategies for Mobile TV and IPTV. In his current role, Miguel accurately predicted the impact of video and TV clips on the mobile networks. The “technology firsts” he has witnessed include the first-ever WCDMA call, the first rollout of the Japanese PDC System, as well as the first GSM calls.
