Killian Noe
Killian Noe founded the Recovery Café, a therapeutic community for men and women recovering from homelessness, addiction and other mental health challenges, in 2003, filling a gap of services in Seattle for those between treatment and stable housing. Earlier, she co-founded and directed Samaritan Inns, intensive transitional and healing communities for people recovering from homelessness and addiction, in Washington, DC. Noe is pastor and founder of New Creations in Seattle, an ecumenical faith community committed to contemplation and action, in the tradition of Church of the Saviour in DC. A life-long student of the intentional community, Noe has travelled to study with communities in India, Nicargua, France, and Asia. Noe is the recipient of the 2012 Seattle University Red Winged Leadership Award and a 2007 Thomas C. Wales Foundation Honoree. She is the author of Our Way Home: Addictions and Divine Love (2001) and a 1998 Distinguished Alumni of Yale Divinity School.
