Jeff Losey
Jeff Losey, Head of the University of Farmers, Claims’ Professional Development Center since its 2012 founding, brings extensive insurance management and staff development experience to his role. Previously, he led the Farmers’ Large Property, Commercial Property and Catastrophe units, and delivered top-tier customer service and quality results every year. Jeff began his Farmers career in 1986 as a claims representative, and moved through branch and zone leadership roles in multiple lines – including property, auto, liability, commercial, med/PIP and subrogation – before becoming national manager of Large Property in 2000. He moved on to a director role in Commercial Property in 2003; AVP of Commercial, Large Property and Catastrophe in 2005; and VP of Property Claims in 2009. Jeff developed custom talent development and succession software for the Farmers Claims Organization. In 2013 he co-authored the ASTD book, “Big Learning Data” with Elliott Masie, Nigel Paine and others.
