Michael O’Farrel
Michael O’Farrel is the founder of The Mobile Institute and Vice-Chairman at ooober. He is co-author of the Mobile Internet For Dummies book and serves on the board of the Mobile Experience Innovation Centre. Over the last 20 years, Michael has played a key strategic role in the launch of innovative new mobile products and services internationally with organizations including Accenture, Google, Microsoft, Nokia, RBC Financial, and Visa, and with mobile network operators globally including Bell, Rogers, Telus, and Vodafone. Michael’s specialties include mobile strategy, mobile industry advisor, mobile industry alliances and partnership. In his spare time, he loves golfing, fishing and playing tennis, as well as visiting the theatre.
