Prof. Ashok Ranchhod
Prof. Ashok Ranchhod, BSc., MSc., MBA, PhD, FCIM, works as a Reader in Marketing Communications at the Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, and holds various Visiting Professorships and an Emeritus Chair at Southampton Solent University. In 2011 he completed his role as the Director of the Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), the top Communications School in India. He also completed the Management Leadership in Education Programme at Harvard University. Ashok also ran his own biotechnology company. He has published more than 60 papers and done consultancy work for major organizations. Currently, as the Director of the Games Design Hub, he leads a team of researchers looking at the role of games in art, health, business, social good and education. Ashok and Calin Gurau co-wrote “Marketing Strategies: A Contemporary Approach”, now in its second edition, published by FT Pearson.
