Florian Brody
Florian Brody, managing partner at Brody and Partners and a Principal at The Halo Agency, is a marketing strategist in the digital content, transactions, and payment space. He was Vice President Marketing at multiple Silicon Valley startups in mobile retail payments, targeted offers, digital media, and visual search; Director of Marketing at A9.com, an Amazon.com company; and headed Marketing Communications at YouSendit. Earlier, he was Director of Business Development at Red Herring Magazine. Florian co-invented the first electronic books and created groundbreaking digital publishing solutions in Europe and the US. A member of the Graduate Faculty of Art Center College of Design, Florian studied Computer Science and Linguistics at the University of Vienna. He is co-chair for the GABA media and entertainment chapter (German American Business Association), a member of the Cinémathèque Française, and was founding president of the Austrian Association of Scientists in N. America.
