Matt Johanson
Matt Johanson is Vice President for Discover Network, a business unit of Discover Financial Services. Mr. Johanson is responsible for leading Discover Network with overall responsibility for Network Marketing, Product and Emerging Payments, and Network Operations. Since joining in 1996, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within Information Technology, Operations and Business Development. In his immediate prior role, Matt was responsible for Discover Network Operations and Payment Services-wide risk management. Prior to that, he was responsible for Discover acceptance throughout North America, oversaw Discover’s relationships with merchant acquirers, and served as ex-officio member of the Electronic Transactions Association’s Board of Directors. He is enrolled in the Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA program. Before Discover, Matt held leadership roles in Information Technology with Caterpillar, Hewitt Associates and Eastman Kodak Company
