Marcy Euler
Marcy Euler is entering her third year as Executive Director of the Tucson Festival of Books. Currently she serves on the board of the Catholic Tuition Support Organization. Past charitable board seats include National Charity League, Inc., Tucson Chapter and the Ben’s Bells Project. Since joining the non-profit sector, Marcy has helped raise over $2 million for various organizations.
Before leaving her career to stay at home with her young children, Marcy was responsible for registration and orientation programs at the University of Arizona. She also worked on admissions and recruitment initiatives, supervised student tour guides and managed the systems unit for the UA undergraduate admissions office.
Previous community involvement includes work with Tucson Community School, the Junior Leagues of Tucson and Austin, All Austin Cooperative Nursery School, Bridgepoint Elementary School, St. Ambrose Catholic School & Parish and Catalina Terrace Athletic Program.
In 2009, the Euler’s spent six months traveling the country and homeschooling their two children. The adventure touched every corner of the country and exposed the entire family to the natural and historic wonders of the United States. They covered over 20,000 miles, visited 55 national parks, and 35 state capitols during the journey.
Marcy completed a bachelor’s degree at Montana State University (Bozeman), earned a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and is a graduate of the Greater Tucson Leadership program.
