Hugh McCullen
Hugh McCullen is vice president of Axxiome Europe, responsible for Strategy and Change Consulting in Financial Services, across Europe. Axxiome is the largest implementor of SAP Banking solutions globally. Hugh has been 15 years in the industry. Following what he describes as ‘an apprenticeship in a corporate banking back office’ at Scotiabank, he began working for IBM and Accenture business services before taking his current role at Axxiome for the past 4 years. For most of his career, Hugh has been involved in core banking systems transformation, development of new business channels, and often package assessments and negotiations. His specialties are Business Process Design, Banking Design and Implementation Methodology. He has degrees in Business & Economics and in Business Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin. Hugh believes strongly that his role is to create a bridge to holistic design that goes beyond traditional business vs. IT.
