Jenise Lee
Jenise Lee is the Founder and CEO of CertClean – Canada’s only certification for safer beauty and personal care products. The certification allows shoppers to instantly recognize beauty products with safer and healthier formulations – products free from potentially harmful ingredients.
Jenise has a Chemical Engineering degree (University of Waterloo), and a MBA (Schulich School of Business). Out of over 450 MBA students, Jenise was awarded the Graduate Business Council Charity Award for having exemplified outstanding contributions to charitable causes.
Jenise previously worked for an environmental engineering firm where she led a wide variety of projects related to environmental site assessments, environmental impact studies and leading edge renewable energy projects. Jenise now uses her analytical and strategic thinking skills to position environmentally conscious businesses for growth. She has lived in China, Italy and Canada, and is now based in Toronto.
