Frank Gillett
Frank Gillett, VP and Principal Analyst at Forrester Consulting, serves CIOs, their teams and tech industry suppliers, by predicting the disruption and business impact of the Internet of Things, connected home, connected car, and the landscape of emerging technologies on businesses, employees, and consumers across the globe. Frank's leading work includes predicting the rise of the personal cloud and digital self; reinvention of the post-mobile PC; emergence of new computing infrastructure such as microservers and GPU compute; and predicting the internal private cloud in 2002. He works across high tech, insurance, automotive, manufacturing and other industries. Before joining Forrester in 1998, Frank consulted on business process re-engineering for the insurance industry and worked on supply chain quality at General Motors. He earned Master's degrees from the MIT Sloan School of Management and MIT Technology and Policy Program and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Duke University.
