Michael Maniccia
Michael Maniccia is a Specialist Leader with Deloitte Consulting, LLP in Los Angeles, with over 30 years of experience working to improve the quality and cost of health plans delivered by large employers. Mike has led the development and execution of multi-year health program strategies that address care delivery and management, program costs, benefit design, vendor strategies and employee health promotion. He has linked health strategies to total rewards, talent and workforce management initiatives. He is the point person nationally for Deloitte’s engagements with employer-based wellness programs. Mike began his career in the insurance industry working with employer health contracts, plan design and implementation. He has served as a consultant for 25 years, first with a clinician-led managed care firm, and for 15 years with Deloitte. Mike is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
