Paul Alvarez
Paul Alvarez is a Senior Manager in the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice of Ernst & Young. He works with clients in responding to cyber incidents and consults with senior executives from across various industry sectors on matters of cyber investigations. Prior to joining EY, Paul was a member of FireEye’s Threat Intelligence team. He was responsible for conducting intelligence analysis of data collected during incident responses. In addition, he worked on Mandiant’s APT 1 report that exposed state-sponsored computer espionage affecting organizations globally. Paul also worked at Lockheed Martin, where he helped develop an Insider Threat Detection program, the first of its kind in the corporation. Paul is a former active duty member of the US Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. He spent ten years as a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, leading investigations into penetrations of DoD computer systems.
