Angela Russell-Rekika
In January 2016, Angela Russell-Rekika joined SAP as the Global Account Director for Verizon, her latest move after 26-years in the communications industry. Before that, she was IBM's Global Telecommunications Strategy and Business Development leader for IBM's Cloud and Internet of Things portfolios. There she helped create Smarter Cities alliances between IBM and carriers like Vodafone, AT&T and Deutsche Telekom. Her work with AT&T resulted in an invitation from NIST to present on Smarter Cities at the White House in 2014. Angela has extensive experience with core and access network technologies, as well as network operations and OSS, stemming from her Lucent Technologies background. She holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University. www.linkedin.com/in/angelarussell.
