Dan Ward is the author of The Simplicity Cycle: A Field Guide To Making Things Better Without Making Them Worse. He is a military technologist and spent over 20 years as an active duty officer in the US Air Force, where he specialized in leading rapid innovation projects. He is now a systems engineer at the MITRE corporation, where he continues to focus on helping people make good decisions about complexity, under conditions of complexity.
