Amy Schabacker Dufrane
Amy Schabacker Dufrane is CEO of the HR Certification Institute, where she focuses on developing collaborative long-term partnerships with individuals and organizations looking to create and deliver change around human resources. Before joining HRCI, she spent more than 25 years in leading human resources functions with organizations including the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, The Optical Society, Marymount University, and Bloomingdale’s. Dufrane has been an adjunct faculty member at the Marymount University School of Business Administration in Arlington, VA, since 1998. She also serves on the advisory board of Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and is a commissioner for the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). She is a recipient of the Leadership Non-Profit Award from HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington. Dufrane holds the HR Certification Institute designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the Certified Association Executive (CAE).
