Dr. Holly Miller
Holly Miller, MD, MBA, FHIMSS, is the Chief Medical Officer and clinician lead for MedAllies healthcare transformation consulting services. She was formerly a VP and the CMIO of University Hospitals and Health Systems, where she was the senior clinical executive for information systems and technology. Prior to UH, she worked as an HIT Managing Director for the Cleveland Clinic. She has been active in healthcare informatics research and has been a co-investigator on multiple grants. Dr. Miller is a past Vice Chair of the HIMSS Board and a past inaugural member of the HIMSS World Wide Board. She is the lead author on a book about PHRs, published in 2009 titled “Personal Health Records, The Essential Missing Element in 21st Century Healthcare.” She is the co-chair of the Direct Trust Clinician’s Steering Group, a member of the IHE 360X Group, and a member of the NCQA Care Coordination Workgroup.
