John Harrison
John Harrison hails from a family of real estate professionals who have been involved in real estate development, investment and sales in his native Texas for many years. He loves getting to know his clients, doing his research and lining up the best possible choices for them. John works extensively downtown and in Brooklyn. He was also a member of the sales team for One Museum Mile, one of CORE's new development projects located on West 110th Street. Prior to working at CORE, John came from IBM, where he worked for a number of years as an IT Architect. Prior to that he established the Eastern European branch of a U.S. architectural/civil engineering design firm. In that role he was charged with setting up and staffing offices in Bulgaria as well as conducting seminars in Bulgaria, Hungary and Finland. Before that he lived in Italy, where he worked on international ad campaigns for the fashion industry. The common thread in John's multifaceted career is his exceptional ability to problem-solve. He has extensive experience in generating creative solutions - whether technical, procedural or financial - for various types of projects. John views this skill as key to succeeding in real estate and he dedicates himself passionately to the investigative work involved in finding just the right home for his clients. His passion is in helping people tell their stories through the Real Estate buying and selling process. John studied computer systems management at St. Edwards University, in Austin, Texas. In addition to his passion for travel, he is involved in film, television, and theater and co-founded two New York City theater companies. John is also fluent in Italian and Spanish and speaks some French and Bulgarian. He has lived in the Financial District/ Tribeca area, The Upper West Side, Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn.
