Akshay Patel
Akshay Patel is a co-founder at SustAnalyze. He is motivated by the challenge of helping to bring novel products to market that are profitable, safer and sustainable in a globally scalable manner. Akshay has a PhD from Utrecht University in the Netherlands where he worked on data-driven methods to speed up the transition towards sustainable fuels and chemicals. During his research he realized that to speed-up development of safer and sustainable products it is important to speed up technical development with wider systems analysis at an early-stage in R&D. He did his bachelor from the University Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India and MS from Iowa State University in the US.
