Michael Wintergerst
Michael Wintergerst, VP and Head of SAP Cloud Platform Core, SAP, is leading a 1,000+ global development organization in the area of SAP Cloud Platform and managing teams in Germany, Israel, Bulgaria, USA and India. Amongst his responsibilities are SAP’s Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Data Management, Security and Web Development offerings and products. Michael joined SAP in 2002 after he finished his studies in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Dortmund, Germany. Since then he has been responsible for a variety of topics in Product Development. Michael started his career as a developer in the area of system programming, virtual machines and application servers. Then, he moved up into lead architect, program and management roles. Michael has a strong focus on development, research and technology.
