Mick Parmar
Mick currently lives in Langenburg, Saskatchewan (Canada) with his spouse Andrea, two very active boys Ajay (14) and Sammy (13), and their puppy Lewis. Mick has been a school-based administrator for the past 17 years, a Vice-Principal for eight years and now a Principal for the past nine years. One of his most recent accomplishments, besides co-authoring Alone in a Crowd, was opening a new school in Langenburg two years ago. As school administrator he is committed to “Creating a Culture of Kindness and Positive Energy”, and developing a staff and student body that is inclusive and compassionate to the needs of others … in his own words, “We all have the “Same Need to Belong.” Mick earned his Masters of Education degree in Educational Administration in 2005 and is truly passionate about creating a school environment that is responsive to students’ individual differences, including any possible mental health concerns.
