With more than 10 years in the international and domestic real estate industry, Katie Thurber has established herself as a thought-leading agent with an invaluable track record. Most recently Katie was part of a 3 person sales team at Austin Nichols House in Williamsburg where she focused on implementing social media strategy and unique brand collaborations to yield the most effective sales results. She successfully closed on 110 apartments and more than $100,000,000 in sales in just 18 months. Originating from the open air of the Pacific Northwest, Katie began her professional career as an architectural photographer and marketing creative for a leading developer along the Pacific Coastline of Mexico. Focusing heavily on property development and international marketing, she contributed to several successful land purchases, subdivisions and marquee sales in Punta Mita, Puerto Vallarta and Careyes. With a continued passion for real estate and a thirst for larger scale urban development, she made her way to Manhattan, where she traded in her camera to pursue a full time career assisting clientele identify their dream homes. A keen eye for design and a rich storied integration in the art world gives her the ability to recognize valuable properties in Manhattan, Brooklyn and beyond. Katie’s strong outreach and loyal clientele stretch further than NYC, as she has deep ties to international clients due to her time in over 16 countries. She has a driving passion for sustainability and strives to bring a more holistic approach to the industry by focusing on integration of environmentally friendly development and wellness platforms. Katie calls the West Village home where she spends her free time practicing yoga, running along the west side highway, studying permaculture and discovering new culinary gems throughout the city.
