Nils Herzberg
Nils Herzberg is the Global Go-to-Market Lead for Internet of Things and Strategic Partnerships, SAP SE. Nils started his professional life as an aerodynamist, designing helicopter rotor systems for a combat helicopter. Radically resetting his career path in 1991, he completed his MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and joined BCG and afterwards Gemini Consulting. In 1997 a meeting with Hasso Plattner changed the career direction again – entering the software industry as the industry director for the aerospace & defense industries. Since then Nils has served SAP and its customers in multiple executive roles: sector lead for the manufacturing industries, customer engagement executive for platform and technology, global head for solution experience, and sector head for discrete manufacturing industries. Nils focuses on Industry 4.0, Internet of Things and Digital Supply Chain and Manufacturing. He also is managing strategic partnerships with major industrial and technology players.
