Dr. Kevin Baxter

Dr. Kevin Baxter is the current Senior Director and Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Dr. Baxter is responsible for coordinating and implementing the vision for growth with a student population of 80,000, from Pre-school through 12th grade.
Dr. Baxter graduated from Villanova University and holds a Master’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University. He holds a Doctorate of Education degree from the University of Southern California in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Baxter is a part-time faculty member in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University. His interests include leadership, dual language immersion, special needs inclusion, and the law and Catholic/private education.
Dr. Baxter is the author of the book Changing the Ending (NCEA, 2011), which focuses on innovation and new approaches for Catholic schools so that they can thrive for future generations.
Dr. Baxter lives in Hermosa Beach with his wife Kim and their six children.
