Peter Akbar has twenty years at SAP successfully engaging with customers, partners and stakeholders at all levels to create proven innovations for the fashion industry. Peters highlights include thought leadership for Fashion companies, brands and retailers leading the creation of the worlds first vertical fashion solution to enable fashion retail, fashion wholesale and manufacturing to Run Simple driving the global adoption of SAP S4HANA Fashion and Vertical Business and leading SAPs premier influence channels: SAP Fashion Council, the Apparel, Footwear and Fashion ASUG User Group and the European Fashion User Group. Peters original fashion experience came from retailer Marks and Spencer in London, UK. Since then Peter has greatly enjoyed leading roles in SAP Development and SAP Solution Management in the UK, US and in Germany where Peter learned German.
