Mashhood Alam is a Senior Director of Innovation & Digital Transformation at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, CA. For the last two decades in Silicon Valley, Mashhood has built enterprise products as a software developer, launched solutions to market as a product manager, drove strategy for half-billion-dollar product line, spearheaded innovation-led sales programs, drove co-innovation projects with clients & led digital transformation initiatives. Mashhood holds 6 US patents and has also won 2 prestigious design awards including a Red Dot award. He regularly speaks at industry events & advises C-level executives on innovation and digital transformation related topics. He advises start-ups & has been a guest lecturer at business and entrepreneurial schools including UC, Berkeley. He is also an author of a book, ‘Transforming an idea into a business with Design Thinking’.
