Maria Esther Lopez-Thome
Maria Esther Lopez-Thome has been a Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Technical Standard Committee Fellow 2016/2018, a SCA Coffee Trainer, Green Coffee Buyer, Roaster and Head Coach. She has been a lawyer for twenty years, specializing in Administrative Law and Tax Management in Venezuela. She received a Law degree from Universidad de Carabobo 1993 Venezuela and a post graduate diploma in Tax Management. She has had extensive experience working in Venezuela's Tax Administration.
In 2015, Maria Esther along with her husband Dylan, setup an artisan specialty coffee shop, Cafe Registrado in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which also serves as a training lab and roasting facility.
