Massimiliano (Max) Claps
Massimiliano (Max) Claps joined SAP public sector team in September 2017 to take the leadership role for the SAP Future Cities, Citizen Engagement and Postal business. Max also oversees the work of SAP Institute of Digital Government. Max has been involved in public sector IT for over 16 years, previously as an analyst with IDC and Gartner, two premier global providers of market intelligence, advisory services, and events in the information technology market. For the last five years before joining SAP Max led the Government Insights and Health Insights units in IDC, being responsible for their EMEA business. At IDC Max managed the team of analysts that provided investigation insights and advice to government, healthcare and education IT executives to develop their IT strategy and support purchasing decisions; as well as to technology suppliers on their go-to-market approaches
