Jeff Howell
Jeff Howell is Global Vice President of the High-Tech Industry Business Unit (IBU), responsible for the overall strategy and roadmap for the industry at SAP. This requires the development of business cases to justify significant investments into in-house development, partnering and potential acquisitions to bolster the portfolio. This includes identifying high-value industry use-cases that incorporate frontier technologies like; blockchain, AI, M/L and Big Data Analytics. Jeff began his career in the high-tech industry where he has held a variety practitioner and leadership positions in semiconductor companies and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s). He earned a B.Sc. in Business Administration, M.Sc. in Engineering and most recently a M.Sc. in Cyber Security from the University of San Diego. In his most recent degree in cyber security, he has applied concepts in cryptography and digital forensics towards a use-case to prevent the proliferation of counterfeit semiconductors.
