Nicholas Chow
Nicholas Chow uses his expertise in water management to focus on the engineering, economics, and policy of Sustainable Water. His current work centers around the interaction between water and energy, building on the OneWater principles of developing healthier and more sustainable water management practices—environmentally, economically, and socially. Nicholas also works on understanding and developing the different economic and infrastructural water practices that generate wider societal benefits. As a water resource and environmental engineer by training, Nicholas is especially equipped to integrate technical understanding and experience into his research, as well as translate these into applied forms. Nicholas has worked with universities across the country as well as with organizations such as the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
