Dr. Woolforde, a nationally recognized leader in nursing & HC, has an extensive history of transforming clinical environments, teams & outcomes. Her work transcends interprofessional arenas, clinical quality & nursing leadership. Her clinical innovations in education lead teams to achieve unprecedented outcomes that benefit patients & healthcare overall, while focusing on nurse-led approaches as solutions for healthcare challenges. These innovations yielded many results which impact the profession of nursing & advance healthcare nationally. Launette’s work has earned, numerous state, regional & national awards, including the 2017 national Belinda Puetz Award from the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD), 2019 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Certified Nurse of the Year, a recipient of the Columbia University, Teachers College Alumni Achievement Award for Nursing Practice & was inducted into the Columbia University, Teachers College Hall of Fame.
