Jon Kaufmann
Jon Kaufman owns a marketing agency in the Silicon Valley. But his real passion is putting in robust water plants in the developing world. Each water plant provides 10,000 people with one gallon of safe drinking water every single day, and establishes an enterprise to sell this water. Self-reliance and human dignity is really what Jon is promoting... in the Maasai Mara, in Haiti, in Tanzania, in India and Nepal and everywhere that women are subservient, spending their entire day trekking for water for their families. His project is H2OpenDoors and is currently operating in 11 countries with designs to guide women to lift themselves into the middle class within the first year.
