Martha Van Inwegen
Martha Van Inwegen is the Founder, President and Chief Alchemist of Life Elements, Inc., A woman-owned, minority-certified company based in Atascadero, CA. She creates nature-based formulations for the Life Elements body care product lines. Martha grew up in Mexico and when she was 6 years old, her parents brought her to the United States where she was raised in a military family with her 5 siblings. She never attended formal college, but was driven to succeed by the values instilled in her from birth: Work hard, love your family and never give up. That hard work led her to co-found the engineering services firm, Bonafide, in San Diego, which she helped grow from 0-40 employees in 3 years, after which it was acquired in 2001. Soon thereafter, she founded Life Elements, which became a small business incubator creating natural body care products such as Action Wipes, TheraBee Honey and the current natural products industry sensation, the CBD & Honey line of nature-based body care.
