After 30 countries and two passports later, Cherae decided to marry her love of travel, expertise in African development, and obsession with all things digital and created Tastemakers Africa a company committed to disrupting what the world thinks about travel to Africa. Beyond building her startup into a globally recognized leader in the tourism industry, she lends her expertise to projects connecting tourism, agriculture, sustainability, and digital engagement. She also serves as a creative and strategic consultant to innovative non-profits and change-making institutions looking to illustrate value to stakeholders and increase support.
