Marty Groover is currently leading Partner in the Industry 4.0 practice for the C5MI business transformation firm. He leads functional and technical teams that solve manufacturing business challenges by merging people, process and technology to create C5MI’s Live Factory® and Digital Reliability Centered Maintenance® solutions for Industry 4.0. C5MI solutions converge Information Technology with Operational Technology to create a live supply chain and manufacturing “Common Operational Picture” focused on operational execution to improve business outcomes. Marty Groover spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer responsible for the operations and maintenance of weapons systems, communications and computer systems. Upon retiring he joined Caterpillar and held positions as 6 Sigma Black Belt, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations and Facility Manager in several manufacturing facilities. In his last role he led the Global ERP Deployment and Support services division.
