Matthias Klein is Head of Tax Technology & Program Management at BASF Taxes and Duties. Matthias has been with BASF for 20 years, spending the first 10 years of his career within the Crop Protection Division. Before 2018 taking the Lead for the Digitalization topic in BASF Taxes and Duties, he worked as a transfer pricing expert based in Germany and Hong Kong. As Divisional Digital Officer and Process Owner for the enabling process Tax Operations, Matthias drives the digital transformation of the global function.
