Sveinung Baumann-Larsen leads the EMEIA Platform, Solutions & Intelligence (PSI) practice in EY. Over the last 15 years, he has helped multinational companies with developing and deploying integrated technology platforms for finance and tax. These integrated platforms build on a common data model and may contain solutions for Planning budgeting and forecasting; Cashflow budgeting and forecasting; Managerial reporting; Transfer Pricing; Service Charging; Effective Tax Rate Management; VAT and Customs analytics; and more. Sveinung started his professional career as an IT advisor focusing on delivering solutions for the finance function. Following that, the tax function caught his interest after he saw the transformational value technology could deliver in this area. Sveinung is frequently speaking on international conferences where shares his experience on tax and technology, and integrated tax and finance technology platforms.
