Pat Kirkland
Pat is a master executive presence coach, a speaker …and a character. Everything she coaches people to do comes from having to overcome her personal challenges. Early in her career, Pat struggled with the dilemma that faces nearly everyone who wants to lead: Focus on results over relationships and risk coming across as “domineering”, or nurture relationships most and risk being seen as a “doormat”? She resolved to find a better way. Her deep dives into multiple disciplines, the most significant ranging from Emotional Intelligence to Evolutionary Leadership Theory, Improvisational Theatre to the martial art of Aikido, provided elements of the work that would eventually become her PREDATOR, PREY, PARTNER ® model. Out of that model Pat has identified a range of non-verbal behaviors that she coaches people on and considers to be a universal Language of Leadership. Applying Pat’s model helps bring out the authentic leader in everyone.
