Jan Rogers Kniffen
Jan Rogers Kniffen is a consultant to retailers and to investors in retail companies and a former retail executive. Mr. Kniffen is currently CEO of J Rogers Kniffen World Wide. Mr. Kniffen is a CNBC contributor, appearing weekly to discuss trends in retail, as well as to discuss current events affecting the stock of publicly traded retailers. Mr. Kniffen also sits on the advisory boards of five retail tech start-ups, and is frequently an expert witness in lawsuits involving retail companies. Mr. Kniffen spent twenty years as a senior executive at The May Department Stores Company, which ran Lord & Taylor, Filene’s, Fox, May-Cohen’s, Sycamore, Loehmann's, Payless Shoe Source and many others, as well as developing, owning, and operating 26 super regional shopping malls.
