Judy Fairburn
Co-founder of The51 (financial feminism platform / venture fund) with over 30 years of diverse executive experience in business innovation, digital, venture capital, strategy, ESG, operations,technology commercialization and public policy. She was the Chief Digital Officer, EVP Business Innovation, and Board Chair of Alberta Innovates. A pioneer in corporate innovation, including co-founding a $100 million cleantech/digital venture fund and multi-company environmental innovation alliances. Judy sits on corporate, tech and economic development boards, including: Petronas Canada, MEG Energy Inc., VEERUM Inc., Calgary Economic Development and the Business Council of Alberta. Judy holds an MSc degree (Chemical Engineering), an MBA and Institute of Corporate Directors designation. She is an award-winning Creative Destruction Lab mentor, 2013 Clean 16 award winner, and recipient of the 2020 Calgary Influential Women in Business Lifetime Achievement Award.
