Matthew Goldman is Founder & CEO of Vertical Finance, a venture-backed fintech startup building cards for communities. Vertical Finance offers the Grand Reserve™ World Mastercard, which provides exceptional rewards for wine enthusiasts. A life-long entrepreneur, Mr. Goldman previously founded Wallaby Financial, a credit card optimization app platform backed by Founders Fund. Wallaby was acquired by Bankrate, Inc. 2014, where Mr. Goldman served as SVP and Chief Product Officer through Bankrate's acquisition by Red Ventures. Prior to starting Wallaby Financial, Mr. Goldman acted as Executive Director, Product at AT&T Interactive and as Director, Retail Strategy at Green Dot Corporation. He has been been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Money Magazine, Kiplingers, American Banker, Payments Source, and many other publications regarding consumer credit, loyalty, rewards, and payments.
