Landis Fryer
Landis Fryer worked in undergraduate admissions at both his alma mater Dartmouth College and at Northwestern University outside Chicago. He earned his Master of Science in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Landis moved to Seoul, South Korea to launch a start-up admissions and personal skills center for high school Korean students seeking enrollment in American universities. Later that year, spent several months in Shanghai, China helping Chinese students learn the application process. He earned his Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education at Loyola University Chicago, completing his dissertation on global leadership development in South Korea. Since his career focuses on higher education systems and undergraduate admissions, Landis is comfortable in and uniquely adapted for admissions counseling services. As a trained educator and counselor who has taught classes on topics ranging from college essay writing to globalization in higher education, Landis enjoys teaching a diverse group of students and professionals. As a former admissions officer and a private admissions coach, he has sat on both sides of the desk and has terrific insight on what it means to create a successful profile.
