Vincent James and Joann Pierdomenico
Vincent James and Joann Pierdomenico are on a mission to help more children (and adults) reap the educational, therapeutic and social benefits of playing music. To help do that they founded the national non-profit Keep Music Alive and two international music holidays: Teach Music Week (March) & Kids Music Day (October). They now partner with over 1,000 music schools and stores every year to offer free lessons to new students and to hold special events that benefit kids playing music. Over two dozen celebrities and music brands support Keep Music Alive ranging from Casio to Remo and Jack Black to Julie Andrews. This musical couple are also authors of the “88 Ways Music Can Change Your Life” book series, featuring inspirational stories of how music impacted people’s lives. 80% of all “88 Ways Music” proceeds are donated to music education and service non-profits.
