Sam Stuckey
Sam Stuckey is a Managing Director in the Deloitte Commodity Trading and Risk Management practice. He has spent his career transforming physical, asset backed trading organizations. His body of work includes commercial and risk management strategy, operating model design, organization and process structuring, and technology strategy and implementation. Some of these programs include: transformation of an integrated oil company to an asset-backed trading model, implementation of SAP trading solution for a global agribusiness company, stand-up of a trading capability for a leading US refining and downstream organization, implementation of a supply and trading operating model for a major fuel retailer, and commercial performance measurement for an international refining company. Sam holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), as designated by the Global Associated of Risk Professionals (GARP).
