James Brehm is a leading voice on the IoT and M2M market. Leveraging experience as an industry analyst with technology companies, he launched James Brehm & Associates in 2013 to deliver pragmatic, actionable advice and metrics grounded in reality. Over the past decade, he has spoken on wireless services, mobile marketing and advertising, VoIP, mobile apps, premium messaging, wireless security, fixed-mobile convergence, mobile broadband, telecom regulatory environment and vertical market deployment of web-enabled services. Past roles include practice leader, strategist and senior consultant for Compass Intelligence; multiple roles at Frost & Sullivan; marketing, sales management, business development at Rackspace Managed Hosting and Interland (now Web.com). He has been an Angel Investor, Tech Stars Mentor, non-profit board member, and a founding member of Geekdom – a collaborative workspace where entrepreneurs, technologists, developers, and makers build businesses and other cool things.
